What we do and do not claim

Parwata is a jewelry house inspired by Balinese culture. Our pieces are jewelry, not religious objects. We do not sell blessings, ceremonies or offerings made on anyone's behalf.

When we write about energy, grounding, protection or healing, we mean the intention a piece helps you hold and the meaning its symbols carry in Bali. Our pieces are not medical or therapeutic products, and they do not replace medical or psychological care.

Our makers

During this design preview, the makers on our site, Wayan in Celuk, Ni Made in Ubud, Nyoman in Tihingan and Ketut in Mas, are representative portraits. Their villages and crafts are real. Their names and stories stand in for the makers we are working with now. Before the first pieces go on sale, we will replace them with our makers' own names, photographs and words, with their consent.

Our commitment to them does not change: 5% of every order goes to the maker of the piece, on top of what we pay for the work. Once orders open, we will publish what has gone to each maker.

Teaching

Our pages on Balinese Hinduism summarize common teaching, with sources on The Teaching. Practice varies between villages, and a pemangku will always know more. We do not make or sell offerings; we describe them.

Images

Product and campaign images on this site are AI-generated concept visuals made with BytePlus Seedream for this brand concept. They are not photographs of finished pieces, real ceremonies or real people.

The Mount Agung film is an AI adaptation that used Lalalalabpi's photograph Gunung Agung, Amed as a reference for the mountain's shape. The photograph is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0, and the adaptation carries the same license.

Calendar

Pawukon dates (Tumpek, Galungan, Kuningan, Saraswati, Pagerwesi) are calculated on the 210-day cycle. Full and new moons follow the astronomical calendar and may differ by a day from the Balinese calendar. Please check a kalender Bali for ceremonies.
